With the Sound Bed I intend to explore the relationship between bodylanguage and sound. The intention of this bed/instrument is to shorten this relationship and it should be seen mainly as an extension of the human body. With 36 switches displayed on the bed surface connected to a Midi circuit board and processed by a computer software, every movement triggers a different sound presenting the possibility of creating and infinite range of sound pieces depending on people's movements over the bed.
Components Bed; Midi Circuit Board; 36 Switches; Ableton Live 6; Speakers.
